A man was being held on $5 million bail Friday on charges that he sold heroin to a police informant on Tuesday and had more on Thursday.
Detectives arrested Dontrail Markise Gilmore, 34, Thursday afternoon at a townhouse on Faversham Lane, near Trawick Road.
According to arrest warrants, Gilmore had sold just over 1 ounce of heroin to the informant on Tuesday. That led to four counts of heroin trafficking – one each for having, selling, transporting and delivering.
On Thursday, the warrants said, Gilmore had 2.5 ounces of heroin. That resulted in one count of trafficking by possession.
When he was booked into the Wake County Detention Center, Gilmore told officials he lives in Charlotte, though he gave no specific address, records showed. Police had listed his address as Crandon Lane in Raleigh.
Gilmore was arrested May 12 on a felony marijuana charge, and he was listed then as living on Upchurch Lane, near where police stopped him that day.
When arrested in May 2016 on armed-robbery and kidnapping charges, Gilmore was listed as living on Boyer Street.
