ASHLAND Three were arrested by Ashland police on drug related charges recently.
In an incident near the 2300 block of Winchester Avenue Danielle G. Stith, 28, of Flatwoods and Jerry W. Kirby, 44, of Catlettsburg were arrested, according to police reports.
Stith is charged with three counts of first degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, first degree promoting contraband and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia. The Boyd County Detention Center website lists additional drug related charges for Stith. Her bond is set at $5,000.
Kirby is charged with two counts of first degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.
The two are alleged by police to be in possession of heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine, an unspecified drug and three syringes.
According to the Boyd County Detention Center Website Kirby faces five failure to appear charges and other drug related charges as well. His bond totals $15,779.
Police also arrested an Indiana man in the 1600 block of Winchester Avenue.
