MASHPEE — Triple M is now selling recreational cannabis products out of its Echo Road location, making it the first recreational marijuana dispensary in the Upper Cape and Mid-Cape areas.
Triple M, at 29 Echo Road, will have a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to a release from Triple M. A Seafood Sam’s food truck will be on the site, and Mark King will play music in the parking lot.
Triple M opened its Mashpee medical dispensary in 2018, and the Mashpee Board of Selectmen approved in January 2021 an amendment to its host community agreement.
The Cannabis Control Commission completed an inspectionApril 12 on the 29 Echo Road location, which was found to be in “full compliance,” according to the commission.
Triple M received notice June 7 from the commission that it could begin operations within three days, said Kevin O’Reilly, chief operations officer.
“We’re very excited to finally be able to serve the recreational customers in the Mid- and Upper cape after being open for medical sales for two years,” he said in a phone interview.
The recreational dispensary has 55 parking spaces for patients and customers and currently offers curbside pickup for both recreational and medical sales, according to Triple M,
