A 33-year-old Nathalie man pleaded guilty Thursday in Halifax County Circuit Court to charges for distribution of marijuana and a violation of his provisions of good behavior as ordered by the court.
Reginald Jermaine Jackson entered his guilty pleas after entering into a plea agreement with the commonwealth.
Pursuant to the plea agreement, the court sentenced Jackson to an effective three months in jail for distribution of marijuana, with the remainder of the 10-year term suspended.
The court ordered the suspended portion of Jackson’s sentence be conditioned on his good behavior for 10 years, beginning immediately, and it ordered him placed on probation for two years upon his release, with credit for time served.
The court ordered Jackson’s operator’s license be suspended for six months and ordered him to pay court costs in full within two years.
The court revoked Jackson’s previously suspended jail term for the good behavior violation, re-suspending all but six months in jail, ordering Jackson to pay court
